When i was using the reference fill, i did the same as you did which was putting the new layer under the reference layer but the color is not showing unless i turn off the reference layer, is that normal?

How the hell do you keep colors vibrant while since clipping mask. Everytime I use it, it lightens the colors and it irritates my soul

curious why you mentioned that multiply doesn’t add saturation to the shadows? of course it didn’t you used black lol you’ve gotta use an actual colour this method just added extra steps
